I moved to Maine in 2017 after thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and founded the Maine Wilderness Group (MWG) in 2019 in an effort to share my love and deep appreciation of Maine with others. In that same year, I became a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and have since become a Registered Maine Guide. 

 

I have always felt a deep connection with the woods, but the seven months spent hiking the trail from Maine to Georgia changed my life in ways I could not have anticipated... taking a self-imposed timeout from corporate America helped me get a better handle on my stress/anxiety and left me with a renewed purpose and outlook on life.

My dream for MWG is to offer opportunities for others to experience the wild beauty of the Maine wilderness, with a Registered Maine Guide to do the planning and heavy lifting!
